Accessibility statement
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Version of 6 November 2026.
What we’ve done
- Text and interface colours meet the WCAG contrast ratios in both the light and dark themes, and the site follows your system’s theme.
- Every status in a verdict is shown with a word and a shape, never with colour alone.
- Everything works with a keyboard, focus is always visible, and a skip link goes straight to the content.
- Some graphics play once when they come into view. On the home page, the sample board fills in for under four seconds, and a button plays it again. Each graphic is complete without the motion, nothing moves if your system asks for reduced motion, and nothing loops. The video plays only when you press play.
- The video has no sound. It has a text transcript on the page and a descriptions track.
- The site works without JavaScript. Scripts only add the step-by-step view of the ten days, the mobile menu, the motion described above and form checks.
- Pages are checked with the axe-core automated tests and by hand with a keyboard before each release.
Known limits
- On narrow screens, wide tables in the guides and the sample verdict scroll sideways inside their frame.
- The video’s on-screen text is small on a phone, so on narrow screens the page shows its transcript instead.
- Some sources we link to are not accessible, and we can’t fix them.
