About Volans Aquilae
Volans Aquilae is an engineering firm that tests AI agents before customers use them, for software companies in the UK, the EU and the US. We work on one problem, getting AI agents to the point where customers, and their security teams, can trust them. We test agents before launch, review and build the MCP servers they call, staff customer go-lives and re-test after every model change.
Where we are today
We have no client case studies yet. So everything a buyer would normally take on trust is public instead. You can see the method, a sample verdict and the prices.
The first three reviews, of either kind, cost USD 6,000 instead of USD 10,000, in exchange for a published summary. It’s anonymous unless the client chooses otherwise, published after the re-run, and the client approves the text. Those summaries will be our first case studies.

- You pay the same for a no-go as for a go.
- Everything we build stays in your repository when we leave.
Our mark is three stars from Aquila, the eagle in our name, set on a balance. They stand for the evals, the security review and the signed verdict, weighed level, because a no-go costs the same as a go.
Your hours
Our engineers work in shifts around the clock, so calls and go-live windows happen in your working day, whether that’s in London, Berlin, New York or San Francisco.
Our prices are set by the scope of each service, not by an hourly rate. A review is ten working days, up to 10 tools and MCP servers, a fixed list of deliverables and one re-run.
The name and the star chart behind our pages come from Aquila, the eagle constellation. Its brightest star, Altair, takes its name from the Arabic for “the flying eagle”.
